Notes:

“Energy Captures” are attempts to encapsulate personal and societal energy through color and form. In reference to history and all sectors of time, i deliberate on the movement of energy between people and in our universe. The interest lies in the relationships of energy to emotion and spirit.

How does one hold so much energy? Does each individual, each object, come from one energy source? Do we come from several? Is there a greater energy source that feeds our galaxy unknown? How does energy move between people? Why does my energy transfer through and by so much emotion?

When initial communication transpires, the first set of force will pass from one source to another. In personal experience, receiving energy immediately triggers an emotive response. Any external breath, touch, glance, or happening luminates my color and form, or shape, of energy.

Transposing energy into color and form works both quickly and over time. A snapshot of energy can be created in two minutes or two years. The latter results in a timeline of energy captures, snapshots of energy.

            What’s more beautiful than that?

In this moment and at this time I am to capture and remark on the intangible as a sort of energy facilitator. Art is the only way to preserve energy in a universal language. I am here now, but my energy can last much longer.
